5K or 10K Invitation Overview

 

You can achieve your 5K or 10K distance goal (February 18 to March 5, 2023) by doing any of the following:

 

*Walking  *Running  *Cross-Country Skiing  *Snowshoeing  *Biking  *Skating

*Any other physical activity that you can track your distance on 

 

There is no registration fee for anyone to participate.  Only one registration (5k or 10K) permitted per participant.

 

Your Achievement Will Help Support the “Save Your Skin Foundation”

 

The Gimli Ice Festival is proud to help support the 4th Edition of “A Viking’s Challenge 2023” that’s committed to raise funds for the “Save Your Skin Foundation”.  The festival shall donate $5.00 (up to a maximum of $300.00) to this cause for every participant that registers and reports having achieved their 5K or 10K distance goal.  Additionally, all participants that registered and reported having completed the 5K or 10K invitation, will qualify to receive a Festival Participant Medal within 30 days of completing this activity.

Registration Procedure

 

To participate simply complete the registration form and then click on SEND.  All personal information provided will not be shared or posted anywhere by the festival.  By registering for this activity the participant accepts all personal liability with respect to completing the 5K or 10K distance safely.

 

How To Report That You Achieved Your Distance Goal

Once you’ve successfully completed your 5K or 10K distance goal between February 18 and March 5, simply click on the “Entry Reporting” tab for this activity.  You’ll be reporting by email that will go directly to the festival administration.  All you need to do is provide your name as was registered for this activity and what distance you achieved (5K or 10K). 

 

The reporting deadline is March 5, 2023 (midnight)
